The latest version of the Timo App Ver 16.0 has just launched on this April 2018. Timo customers can look forward to enhancements in speed, security and more for your account.
1/ Interbank Money transfer is now Faster
We received a lot of feedback from our customers about how inconvenient and delayed some inter bank transactions have been either due to incorrect information being inputted or processing time required for a transfer to go through especially on weekends or holidays. The latest version of the Timo app includes Fast Transfer – a 24 / 7, instant money transfer service via account number to banks under the napas network.
Try Fast Transfer now in 2 minutes:
- Login to Timo
- Swipe right on your Spend Account
- Select Move Money
- Click the + button to Add Recipient and select Bank Account. When you select the Bank Name drop-down, you will easily find napas systems that allow instant cash transfers as shown with a rocket icon alongside them as below.
2/ CDM / ATM locator updates
Finding a cash machine to deposit money into your account is now easy. We’ve updated the list of ATM and CDM machine locators in the app allowing customers to filter your search based on Smart Cash Machines (CDM). Now you can easily find a CDM location nearest to you.
Find CDM location in 3 steps: Login to the Timo app -> Select Menu -> Select CDM / ATM location -> Select the CDM closest to you
Note: VPBank’s CDM machines are located within the branch and operate during regular branch office hours. Other App updates include enhancements to notifications transaction details, security and speed of the application.

1. Upgrade required
Ver 16 is a mandatory upgrade. However, some iOS users may not see the available update immediately in the App store.
No worries, just refresh the list of updates in the App store and you should be good to launch.

2. Re-enable Touch / Face ID login
Touch / Face ID will need to be enabled again as part of the new update.
Login with your Username & Password as usual and enable Touch / Face ID under the Security & Alerts section of the menu (located in the top left corner of the home screen) OR see instructions here.
