Những điều bạn cần biết về IELTS Speaking Part 3 

Đề thi IELTS Speaking Part 3 còn được gọi là phần Discussion – phần thảo luận. Trong phần này, giám khảo sẽ đưa ra những câu hỏi có liên quan trực tiếp đến phần Speaking Part 2 mà bạn vừa trả lời. If they brought those in, it would paying for transport much easier and could also lead to more people using buses and trains more often.

Áp dụng chiến thuật AEE

Chiến thuật AEE là gì?

Việc tiếp cận câu hỏi và hiểu được câu hỏi ở IELTS Speaking Part 3 là vô cùng khó, kèm theo đó là sự lo lắng của thí sinh để làm sao vừa đủ dài câu, vừa đảm bảo đạt điểm số cao. Chính vì vậy, Part 3 có thể nói là nỗi ám ảnh của nhiều bạn.

Để tránh trường hợp bị bí không biết phải trả lời gì hoặc chỉ trả lời được 1,2 câu rất ngắn thì cách tốt nhất là bạn nên áp dụng chiến thuật 3 bước AEE. Trong đó:

• A: Answer
• E: Explain
• E: Example

Đây là cấu trúc hoàn hảo giúp bạn phá đảo bất kỳ câu hỏi nào trong đề thi IELTS Speaking Part 3. Hãy đưa ra câu trả lời trực tiếp cho câu hỏi. Rồi sau giải thích lí do vì sao bạn lựa chọn đó là câu trả lời của mình. Trong thời gian đó, hãy nghĩ về các ví dụ và trình bày chúng để lí giải cho câu trả lời của bạn.

Trong nhiều trường hợp, bạn cũng có thể thêm vào phần Alternative – Ý kiến trái chiều để khiến câu trả lời được mở rộng hơn. 

Ví dụ Questions IELTS Speaking Part 3 áp dụng AEE

Với một câu hỏi mà giám khảo đưa ra là: “Do you think there are too many game shows on TV nowadays?”

Để vận dụng chiến thuật AEE vào Answers IELTS Speaking Part 3, bạn sẽ trả lời như sau:

• Step 1: Answer: “Yes, there are far too many game shows on TV for my liking”
• Step 2: Explain: “I suppose the channels show these programs because they are popular, and they must be very profitable.”
• Step 3: Example: “A good example is ‘Who wants to be a millionaire?’, which has been told to TV channels across the world.”

Chiến thuật AEE giúp bạn những gì?

Một số chiến thuật khác

Kéo dài thời gian một cách khéo léo

Trong quá trình thực hiện IELTS Speaking Part 3, sẽ có những lúc bạn gặp phải những câu hỏi khó đòi hỏi khả năng tư duy và tổng hợp kiến thức trong thời gian ngắn mới có thể trả lời một cách hoàn chỉnh. Điều bạn cần làm lúc này là phải kéo dài thời gian một cách khéo léo để không bị nhận ra. 

Giải pháp cho việc này chính là hãy Paraphrase lại câu hỏi thành câu trả lời. Điều này sẽ giúp bạn thể hiện được vốn từ vựng phong phú của mình. Thuyết phục giám khảo bằng câu trả lời nhiều khía cạnh

Để có một phần thi Speaking hoàn hảo, thí sinh cần phải đưa ra câu trả lời hợp lý. Câu trả lời không quá dài cũng không quá ngắn. 

Đặc biệt là với Part 3, bạn cần phải đưa ra câu trả lời dưới nhiều khía cạnh khác nhau, với những lý lẽ để thuyết phục giám khảo trên nhiều phương diện. 

Cách 1: Tìm câu hỏi dựa vào công thức 5W – 1H

Có 1 phương pháp khá hay để bạn mở rộng câu trả lời của mình. Đó chính là đặt ra những câu hỏi cho chính mình và tự trả lời những câu hỏi đó. Công thức 5W – 1H đó là (Who, What, Where, Why và How). Hãy tạo kim chỉ nam cho bạn để phát triển các ý tưởng thêm nữa.

Example:

• How has people’s way of communicating changed?
• Why people changed in the way of communicating?
• Who changed?

Cách 2: Đặt ra các giả định và đảo ngược vấn đề

Đây là một cách làm tuyệt vời giúp bạn có thể gây ấn tượng với giám khảo. Ví dụ giám khảo đưa cho bạn câu hỏi “Suy nghĩ về việc sử dụng điện thoại đang làm chúng ta ngày càng có khoảng cách”

Thay vì trả lời trực tiếp, bạn có thể chỉ ra mặt tốt của vấn đề như: dùng điện thoại giúp mọi người dễ dàng liên lạc và kết nối với nhau. TUY NHIÊN, ngược lại, điện thoại cũng sẽ làm chúng ta có khoảng cách bởi trong xã hội ngày nay, chúng ta thường gặp nhau mà mỗi người cầm một cái điện thoại để rồi không ai nói chuyện với ai,… Việc nêu ra một giả định lật ngược vấn đề sẽ giúp bài Speaking của bạn chặt chẽ và có tính logic hơn. 

Cách 3: Đưa ra một ví dụ để thuyết phục giám khảo

Một lời khuyên cho phần này là bạn hãy đưa ra các ví dụ đi kèm câu trả lời của mình, bởi điều đó sẽ giúp bài thi nói của bạn có tính thuyết phục hơn. Đây cũng là cách đơn giản để bạn không phải giải thích các định nghĩa dài dòng mà vẫn đảm bảo được độ dài của bài thi. 

Nâng band điểm bằng từ vựng học thuật

IELTS Speaking Part 3 có liên quan rất nhiều đến các lĩnh vực trong cuộc sống hàng ngày. Vậy nên cách tốt nhất là bạn cần bỏ túi cho mình càng nhiều từ vựng càng tốt. Đặc biệt là những từ vựng có tính học thuật để ghi điểm trong mắt giám khảo.
